Here’s a quick guide to learn how to complete the mapping procedure and choose which of your KNX system accessories to connect to the Apple HomeKit, Google, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT and Home Assistant worlds.
Access the Easykon for KNX web interface to map the accessories. For each one, enter a name, choose the correct category and complete the parameters with the group addresses of Command and Status.
ToAccess using the IP address
You can access the Easykon for KNX interface directly from your local network using the IP address that has been assigned to Easykon by your router.

You can find the Easykon IP address by using a software that scans the local network, such as Lanscan for MAC operating systems or Advanced IP scanner for Windows. You can also find the IP address on the configuration page of your router. |
Follow these steps to access the web interface:
Enter the Easykon IP address in the browser
Click on "Sign in" (or "Login")
Press the "Sign in / Unpairing" button on the Easykon device installed on the DIN bar

Mapping KNX Accessories and using interface
The Easykon for KNX web interface allows you to map the system accessories and make them compatible with the Apple HomeKit, Google and Amazon Alexa systems automatically.
The accessory configuration area
Here you can add, modify or delete accessories and features, you can also search among those already mapped.

You can do the search based on the accessory name, using the bigger bar, or filter them by category. If you enter inside of an object to configure it, when you came back you will find the list with the filter still active. |
Make sure your accessory is compatible with Easykon Compatible Accessories
To add an accessory:
Click on the "+" at the top left
Select the correct accessory category for the accessory to be mapped
Enter the name you want to assign to the object. This will be the name used by Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, it will be possible to change it directly from the applications
Complete the parameters with the group addresses
Click on save to map the accessory
Repeat this step for every accessory you want to make compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT and Home Assistant.

To add additional features for the accessory:
Click on "Add a new feature to the accessory"
Select the correct category
Complete the parameters with the required group addresses
Click on "Save" to complete the operation

To change an accessory:
Enter the accessory parameters by clicking on the edit icon
Change the name, parameters or features
Click on "Save" to complete the operation
The KNX project import area
In order to make accessory mapping even easier and faster, the KNX project structure can be imported directly into the Easykon for KNX interface. You can choose to import an .xml file or directly the .knxproj project file.

To upload the project:
Click on the icon at the top right and then "Select file"
Select the file to import .xml or .knxproj
Click on "Import" to complete the operation
Well, now that you have mapped the accessories that interest you, control them with the platform of your choice, Apple HomeKit, Google, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT and Home Assistant.
